- ⅓ cup sugar
- 1 bag (1 tablespoon) vanilla sugar
- 1 ½ cups sour cream
- 2 tablespoons quick-dissolving gelatin
- Chocolate for decoration
Instructions
- Prepare the Gelatin:
- Take 100 ml from the total amount of milk.
- Pour the gelatin over the milk, stir, and leave it to swell.
- Create a Mold:
- Cut a window out of a milk or juice tetrapack to use as a mold for the dessert.
- Alternatively, you can use a silicone mold if you have one.
- Make the Cream Base:
- Add sugar to the egg yolks and mix well.
- Pour in the remaining milk and put the mixture on a medium-high fire.
- Stir constantly with a whisk until small bubbles appear, then turn off the heat.
- Add the swollen gelatin to the hot (but not boiling) mixture and mix until dissolved.
- Combine Ingredients:
- Add the sour cream and vanilla sugar to the slightly cooled mixture.
- Mix until smooth. The mixture will have a beautiful ivory color.
- Form the Dessert:
- Pour the milk mixture into the prepared mold.
- Cover with cling film and refrigerate for 3 hours to stabilize.
- Serve:
- Once set, remove the dessert by cutting the tetrapack.
- Decorate with chocolate, berries, or nuts if desired.
Tips for Extra Flavor
- You can add berries, nuts, or chocolate to the mixture while pouring it into the mold for added texture and flavor.
- This dessert is incredibly tender and light on its own, with no strong taste of gelatin or egg yolks.
