  • 14 oz of pumpkin
  • 1 onion
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 small head of celery
  • 1 potato
  • 3/4 cup of cooking cream (200 milliliters)
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley

Method of Preparation

  1. Prepare the Vegetables:
    • Peel the pumpkin and cut it into large pieces.
    • Wash, peel, and grate the carrot using a coarse grater.
    • Peel and dice the onion.
    • Wash and dice the celery.
    • Peel and dice the potato.
  2. Cook the Vegetables:
    • Pour some oil into a deep cooking pot and heat it on the stove.
    • Once the oil is hot, add the diced onion. Stir and cook until translucent.
    • Add the grated carrot and diced celery to the pot. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
    • Add the pumpkin pieces and stir well.

    • Once the vegetables are soft, pour in the cooking cream.
    • Add a cube of butter to enhance the flavor.
    • Use a blender to puree the soup until smooth.
  5. Final Touch:
    • Cook the blended soup for another 2-3 minutes to combine all flavors.
    • Remove from heat.
  6. Serve:
    • Serve the soup hot in bowls.
    • Sprinkle with croutons and freshly chopped parsley for garnish.
