Quick Donut Recipe

Ready in just 10 minutes! No yeast, no oven, and super practical. These quick donuts are very easy to make at home and perfect for a speedy treat.


  • 1 large egg
  • 80 g sugar
  • 15 ml water
  • 25 g cooking oil
  • 3/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla powder
  • 200-230 g all-purpose flour

How to Make

Step 1: Prepare the Wet Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine the egg, sugar, water, cooking oil, vanilla powder, salt, and baking soda. Beat until well mixed and the sugar dissolves.

Step 2: Add the Flour

Gradually add the all-purpose flour to the wet ingredients, stirring gently until well blended and thickened. The dough should be smooth and pliable.

Step 3: Roll Out the Dough

Place the dough on a floured board and smooth it out using a rolling pin. Roll the dough to a thickness of about 1-1.5 cm.

Step 4: Cut the Dough

Cut the dough into donut shapes using a donut cutter or a round cutter. You can also use a smaller cutter for the donut holes.

Step 5: Fry the Donuts

Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Carefully add the cut dough pieces into the hot oil. Fry until the donuts are golden brown, about 2 minutes on each side. Flip the donuts to ensure even cooking.

Step 6: Cool and Serve

Remove the donuts from the oil and drain on a paper towel-lined plate. Let them cool slightly before serving.
