Ingredients
- For the Cake:
- 4 eggs
- 2 tablespoons plain flour

- ½ cup butter, softened

- 2 packets vanilla sugar
- 1 can peach compote
Instructions
- Prepare the Sponge Cake:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
- In a separate bowl, add two heaping tablespoons of powdered sugar to the egg yolks and beat until you get a smooth, white foam.
- Add the plain flour and half a packet of baking powder to the egg yolk mixture. Beat thoroughly.

- Pour the batter into a cake tin lined with baking paper.
