Creamy Light Dessert That’s Perfect For Any Occasion

Imagine a dessert that’s quick, easy, and absolutely divine. With just a few simple ingredients like milk and eggs, you can create a creamy, light dessert that’s perfect for any occasion. Let’s get started with this delightful recipe!

Ingredients

  • 1 ¼ cups milk
  • 3 egg yolks
  • ⅓ cup sugar
  • 1 bag (1 tablespoon) vanilla sugar
  • 1 ½ cups sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons quick-dissolving gelatin
  • Chocolate for decoration

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Gelatin:
    • Take 100 ml from the total amount of milk.
    • Pour the gelatin over the milk, stir, and leave it to swell.
  2. Create a Mold:
    • Cut a window out of a milk or juice tetrapack to use as a mold for the dessert.
    • Alternatively, you can use a silicone mold if you have one.
  3. Make the Cream Base:
    • Add sugar to the egg yolks and mix well.
    • Pour in the remaining milk and put the mixture on a medium-high fire.
    • Stir constantly with a whisk until small bubbles appear, then turn off the heat.
    • Add the swollen gelatin to the hot (but not boiling) mixture and mix until dissolved.
  4. Combine Ingredients:
    • Add the sour cream and vanilla sugar to the slightly cooled mixture.
    • Mix until smooth. The mixture will have a beautiful ivory color.
  5. Form the Dessert:
    • Pour the milk mixture into the prepared mold.
    • Cover with cling film and refrigerate for 3 hours to stabilize.
  6. Serve:
    • Once set, remove the dessert by cutting the tetrapack.
    • Decorate with chocolate, berries, or nuts if desired.

Tips for Extra Flavor

  • You can add berries, nuts, or chocolate to the mixture while pouring it into the mold for added texture and flavor.
  • This dessert is incredibly tender and light on its own, with no strong taste of gelatin or egg yolks.
